Business Performance Transformation

Business Performance Transformation is the adoption of  technology to transform services or businesses, through replacing non-digital or manual processes with digital processes or replacing older digital technology with newer digital technology. Digital solutions may enable – in addition to efficiency via automation – new types of innovation and creativity, rather than simply enhancing and supporting traditional methods.

Sounds new!  But, really not new. 

I remember back in the 90’s when Champy and Hammer introdced the concept of Reengineering.  Similar concept…applying technology to streamline business processes.  It was a great concept, but the problem is they wanted organizations to start from scratch and most businesses are not in a position to do that.  

PHASE I – Strategy and Planning

Partnering with you, we help analyze your current processes, technologies and culture and, then, develop a strategy for improvement.  Once the strategy is complete and communicated, we help create a roadmap for deployment and rollout.

PHASE II – Determine technical needs and strategy

Based on the strategy and needs, we help determine thr required changes to the technical architecture that need to be in place for the improvements in efficiency, collaboration and compliance.

PHASE III – Understand organizational strengths and weaknesses

Better understand organizational strengths and weaknesses and develop a communication plan to enhance adaption and minimize resistance.   

This requires organizations to continually challenge the status quo and means walking away from long-standing business processes that companies were built upon in favor of relatively new practices that are still being defined.

Obviously, this is very challenging.  People make or break your success.

PHASE IV – Determine application and integration needs
